Twenty-Something…and CAKE!!!

So, today marks the last year I can be called twenty-something. This is a very strange time. While I’m secretly (or not so secretly!) glad that I’m still technically in my twenties- it’s also an awkward age. Why? Because I’m not really twenty anymore. I’m that weird place right before the big THREE- O.

And, while I’m technically still in my twenties- I’m supposed to act more mature because now, any time I do something “young,” (whatever that means,) someone will most likely say, “Aren’t you almost thirty now?”

But it’s cool. Because tonight I’m going to go out and party and celebrate the last year I can be ridiculously twenty-somethingish.
Although, if I really had my b-day wish, all my books would be finished NOW lol.
I’ll make sure to spend some time today working on what makes me truly happy: Writing and Reading. Then I’ll go out tonight and celebrate life.
Wish me luck 🙂
