Thomas, Lord of Death Part 2

Friday, September 4th, 2020

I have posted up the podcast where you can listen to part 2 of the audio version of Lord of Death for free. It is not the original audio, so if you would like the audiobook without ads and much better sound quality, you can find the audiobook HERE. The audiobook is about 40 minutes long, so I divided the audio into two episodes. This episode is the completion of Thomas’s story. I hope you enjoy hearing this story as much as I enjoyed writing it.

More Poetry – Sea Wurm

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2020

Sea Wurm

Pitter patter

Little prints of feet upon the sea

Running, scurrying to and fro

With a look of malicious glee

Seeking above turgid waves

At the fish gone by

Ducking low beneath the foam

Beneath the darkened sky

Opening a tooth-filled maw

Endeavoring to roar

Frightening innocent passersby

On the far-by shore

Oh, what wet and dripping glisten

Those scales of innocent terror

Oh, that pungent seaweed breath

Of that sea-wurm’s lair

So, watch that giant of the waves

Streak past in silver glory

And mind that terror of the sea

Thou sailor bold and hoary

So, I recently made the decision to become a Tik Tok content creator.

This is what happened instead.

So…Word Camp Anyone?

Tuesday, June 30th, 2020

So I happened to have randomly come across this announcement of a Word Camp that usually takes place in Minnesota. Now, as a result of Covid-19, they are moving the convention online — and it’s completely FREE!

I don’t know about you, but I’m all for anything free. No question.

So, needless to say, I signed up.

If you’re a writer, you should also.

I mean, come on. It’s free.

You don’t have a reason not to.

Check it out HERE.

I’ll be there for certain ^.^

Wish me luck!

Status Update

So, I’m back.

Feeling good and ready to hit the ground running, too.

I have begun re-editing the beginning chapters of Dragon Kin. And although reading it after so long a hiatus made me cringe–the break was much needed. I could see what needed to be ripped out with no mercy and restructured into something much more coherent.

This was good.

I hate editing, but it also feels good when you know you’re fine-tuning the flow of your entire work.

I won’t hesitate to say that this will be a process, because it’s not the only project on my plate right now….which leads us into:

RGAA: Real Girlfriends Across America. If some of you have been following my pics and posts on my life story on messenger (maybe 5 of you have? lol) You’ll have noticed that I am currently working with a group of women that are all about networking and building up women in their work spaces.

I absolutely love this experience. Interacting with these women have encouraged me to restart on my creative process–something that I had abandoned because I believed life was too much for me to handle while trying to write/edit at the same time.

I’m on fire now, and it’s all to the credit of these awesome women.

From time to time, I’ll be forwarding their posts, because I strongly believe they have something to offer.

Full disclaimer, I’ve also written some of the blog posts on their site, and hosted some podcasts that they produce.

In any event, feel free to check out their site HERE and make sure to listen to some of the episodes of the podcast HERE.

Much luv, and wish me luck!
